January 8th meeting notes
Greetings y’all, Meeting was called to order at 7 pm with 4 members present. 1st item was a reminder by Pat of the new due date for dues which is now in July. We will be sending out reminder E-mails and renewal letters in May. Next item was setting a date for the next Adopt-A-Hwy trash pickup which will be Saturday, May, 10th starting at 11AM. Next item was the suggestion of a camp trip this summer to Gorietta pass or Valverte New Mexico. Dates suggested were June 14 & 15th or July 19 & 20th. Plans were tabled till the March meeting. Next item was for us to check on new events to participate in this summer. We really need to be more aggressive in recruiting new members by get out to events and having a booth or something like that. Next item was to restart the camp newsletter with events pass and coming. Maybe quarterly or bi-monthly. Last item was final word on Lee/Jackson dinner. All was pretty well set for the dinner. Hoping for about 30 members to come this year. meeting closed at 8:30 PM
